Marne La Vallée – Valence line
Mission G2 AVP
Project owner : SNCF INFRAPOLE LGV SEE LYON
As part of the modernisation of the high-speed line linking Marne-la-Vallée to Valence, SNCF is planning to create new signalling stations.
We have been commissioned to carry out geotechnical assignments for the G2 AVP pre-project for 58 substations on the line. Each substation has a footprint of 89 or 126 m² and will be installed on a prepared platform.
For 5 weeks, a drilling team travelled along the 485 kilometres of track to carry out the 58 soil surveys, equipped with a GRIZZLY® and a PANDA® light penetrometer.
A total of 104 boreholes and 113 penetrometric tests were carried out at 5 metres or at the refusal point.
