Mission G1 (Etude de Site / Principes Généraux de Construction)
Location : Departments 63, 03, 15, 43
Customers : Individuals / Property developers
The French Elan law requires landowners to provide potential buyers with a G1 geotechnical survey in areas prone to clay shrinkage and swelling.
Against this regulatory backdrop, we are regularly commissioned by private individuals and property developers to carry out G1 surveys (ES/PGC) on building plots intended for sale, generally as part of a single-family home project.
Following in situ geotechnical surveys and tests, recommendations are made on the design and installation of foundations. The risk of clay shrinkage/swelling is carefully studied by means of laboratory tests.
