Aquatic Centre Béatrice Hess – RIOM (63)
Missions G1 ES + PGC + Missions G2 PRO + G4 + Engineering
Client : Riom Limagne et Volcans
We were commissioned by Riom Limagne et Volcans to carry out G1, G2 and G4 geotechnical studies for the extension of the Riom swimming pool.
The project involves building new pools and premises, with the existing structure being rebuilt underneath. Temporary retaining walls will be used to maintain the soil and control water inflow.
Monitoring of the works enabled technical solutions to be found during the construction phase and ensured that the site ran smoothly.
The complexity of this project lies in :
- defining solutions for the underpinning of the existing building and basins
- creating temporary retaining walls under the water table
- water inflow management
- dimensioning the deep foundations of an ERP with numerous load cases
