FONCIERE GRAND MESS asked us to carry out geotechnical work on a hotel-restaurant project in Clermont-Ferrand. Covering an area of around 3,500 m², the project extends over 6 storeys (ground floor + 4 floors with basement).
We carried out the G2AVP and G2PRO design assignments, concluding with a general invert solution for the project’s foundations. Given the circulation of water and the proximity of neighbouring areas (roads), a Berliner retaining wall solution was selected and sized for the invert and basement.
During the execution phase, we validated the calculation notes and monitored the execution of the geotechnical works on site.
